Laura Ruitenbeek

Hi! My name is Laura Ruitenbeek and I am 20 years old. I am in my second year of the bachelor Sociology. Besides my studies, I am currently active at student association T.S.C. St. Olof and sorority Otium. I’m also active at the student participation association Front. During my time here at Tilburg University, I learned that it is very important to be active besides your studies, since it has a positive influence on both your professional career and your social netwerk. Students can be active in many different ways, which is why I want to promote all possibilities to be active besides your study, just like the extracurricular activities. I also think it’s important that all lectures slides should be offered online at the beginning of the semester. In this way every student can work ahead if they want to or see when difficult subjects will be discussed. In this way active students will have more flexibility in their student days.
